Instruction Plans

The students are to use the curriculum web to read Animal Farm in six segments or  lessons. Students are to move at their own pace and must score at least 70% on the lesson quizzes before moving to the next lesson. Students should use all of the available resources such as the vocabulary builder and character study guides provided by the Web to increase their comprehension. They may take the quizzes as many times as they want in order to post the highest score. Students should use their journals to record ten vocabulary words and their meanings from each chapter using the vocab section of the web. The forum is used to ask open ended and thought provoking questions and to aid in comprehension through discussion with teachers and their peers. Use of the forum will be mandatory to record vocabulary words and to answer teacher's questions.
