This curriculum web is designed to help students read and understand George Orwell's allegorical novel Animal Farm. This book is enjoyable to read on many levels and teaches many lessons. The book is taught in six lessons with accompanying questions for each chapter.
The book shall be read in its entirety and examine the story's significance both historically, and in view of today's world.

Animal Farm was written by George Orwell in 1944 but wasn't published until 1945. It's original title was Animal Farm: A Fairy Story. The original title was never published in the US and was simply called Animal Farm. Other publications have kept the original title
